Community Kids

“Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.” -Proverbs 22:6

Our goal is to partner with families in teaching our kids that Jesus loves them and how they can love Him.  Each Sunday, your kids will be prayed with and for.  During their time in CommunityKids, you can expect them to hear a story about Jesus and from His Word.

CommunityKids is for kids 6 weeks-5th grade during the Gathering on Sunday Mornings

  • We have 2 age divisions –
    • Preschool (babies-⅘ year olds)
      • Babies, ones, twos, threes and ⅘ year old all have their own classrooms.
    • Elementary (K-5th grade)
      • Elementary students have corporate worship as well as individualized small groups based on age/gender.

The Gathering begins at 10am and you can sign your kids in beginning at 9:45am

If you are new, there will plenty of people to help you; answer any questions you have and make sure that you and your children are comfortable in CommunityKids!

All of our volunteers have completed and passed a background check (all background checks are seen by the Pastor/Elder counsel).

When you sign your children in, you will get a sticker with a number on it and your kids will get a sticker with a matching number (one sticker per kid).  To pick your child up, you must present the sticker, the teacher will match it to the child AND you will need to sign them out.

Children with Allergies

There will be a place on your registration form, the sign in sheet AND your child’s sticker to indicate any food allergies.  PLEASE also make sure to tell the teacher and we will accommodate any needs to the best of our ability.

If at any point, your child needs parental attention, a Community Kids leader will come into the Gathering and get you or text you on the number left at sign in.

On the Lookout: Van Needed

A team of folks from CCC has been helping a refugee family resettle here in Kentucky. Recently, the family has asked if members of the team could teach them to drive. One gap in that is having a van for their family. The family is seeking to purchase a van for their needs. Would you pray for this? If you know of a van that might be a good fit, please contact Eric Allen at

1,000 Ways to say THANK YOU

Are you ever paralyzed by options? I’d rather Katelyn tell me where we’re eating than have to think about my options. I’m always more satisfied when a waiter recommends their favorite dish than when I taste a little bit of everything on the buffet. The same thing can happen when I think about saying THANK YOU! What’s the best way to say THANK YOU? It can seem like there are 1,000 ways! A friend shared with me today – unexpressed […]
