News/Updates for CommunityKids Parents

Hey CCC Parents; y’all out there?!  Families and children are such a crucial part of the Church and we want to have a few weeks to really focus on that.  We have got some really exciting things coming up in the month of March, especially geared towards YOU!  John Bennett will be giving the message on Sunday, February 26th–def. one you do not want to miss!  Following that there are a few upcoming events that focus on children, parents and families so please take a minute below to look at these dates AND to give us your feedback…

Date:  Friday, March 2nd 7:00pm
Event:  VIP Night
Time/Location:  7:00pm at Operation Care
What is it?  YOU, as a parent, are the VIP.  The Lord has blessed CCC with so many awesome families and we are all walking through this parenting thing together.  This is a night to look at scripture to see what we can learn about parenting from the Ultimate source.  It is also going to be an open forum type night where we can just come together and share our thoughts/ideas/struggles/joys as moms and dads.  We would love to hear from you; what are some things that you would like to discuss?!  (seriously, let us know, this night is about you!)

Date:  Sunday March 4th, Tuesday March 6th
Event:  Baby Dedication Classes
Time/Location:  TBD
What is it?  What is a baby dedication?  What’s a parents role in the spiritual development of their child(ren)?  Why is it important for the parents/church to partner together?  These are the questions we dive into during our baby dedication class as we come alongside parents on their journey in supporting their child’s spiritual development to know and believe in Jesus Christ.

This informational class is required for parents to attend prior to a scheduled baby dedication.

Date:  Sunday, March 11th
Event:  Baby Dedication
Time/Location:  during the Gathering
What is it?  We will be formally celebrating our families this day who are having their children dedicated.
