Last Sunday at CCC we focused on the grace of God…God’s grace is His kindness toward humanity, without regard to the worth or merit of us who receive it, and without our deserving it. In Ephesians 2:4-9, we learn more about God’s love…“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Without grace, God finds in us nothing but sin and condemnation. Grace comes into our lives when receive by faith Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. Have you experienced the grace of God through Jesus? If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9…Give your heart to Jesus today.
