Be a host at our Light up Shelbyville booth. We are excited to have a spot at Celebration of Lights on November 13th! We want to use this opportunity to meet people and invite then into what it looks like to have Hope for Shelbyville as we enter into Christmas and 2022! We’re going to have a dj at our booth, an interactive element where people can actually write their hopes for our town and a card of encouragement and invitation to join us at CCC. We are looking for 10 volunteers who would be willing to host our booth by handing out invite cards and just connecting with people. Ideally 2 people per hour from 3:00-8:00 pm. Bring in “pop tops” for the Backpack Project. For the entire month of November we will be collecting soups/chef boyardee items to be donated to the Backpack Project! Make sure they have a pop top (so they don’t require a can opener to open) and bring them to the Gathering any Sunday in November.
