3 THINGS THAT MAKE ME SAY WOW!
Students reaching students. Kenny and the EDGE Students team have really hit their stride pouring into middle school and high school students here in Shelbyville! What started as students handing out bibles at school is now leading to students leading other students in bible study as they ask questions and explore faith. That's incredible! Another student reached out for advice on how to walk with a friend who expressed their desire to have a relationship with God. WOW!
A church family on a mission to love their community well. Katie and her missions leadership team mobilized more people through Love Shelbyville yesterday than I've seen at least since COVID (and possibly ever at CCC!)! Katie and I marveled and reflected on what that meant this morning. On a cold, rainy day, with less than ideal circumstances, our church family pulled together to go out and love Shelbyville well. Y'all, that only happens because of the endurance and resilience and passion God is building in your hearts! WOW!
International workers enduring extreme isolation and anxiety so that the lost can hear the good news. I'd be remiss not to mention our overseas partners that some of us got to spend time with last week. One mentioned this was the first time they had sang to God in English in 9 months. Another shared that this was the first time since the pandemic their children had played with other children. They all express the anxiety of being banned from the country at a moment's notice. Why endure that? So that the 85 million people who are there and separated from the love of Christ might hear the good news of the gospel. Friends, your lives make me say, WOW!

1 REASON TO LIVE
Galatians 2:20 has been on my mind today, and it reminds me why I live.. the 1 and only reason. "I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
