This Week: Our kids heard breaking news from the prophet, Amos, who had a warning for people who only look like they are worshipping on the outside. We learned that "sincere" means honest and true. One way that we are being sincere in worship at church is by showing respect to God when we sing songs and read the Bible.
Our Big Idea: When I worship God, I can be sincere.
Read: Amos 5:18-24; Matthew 25:1-13 Engage:
Why did Amos share this message with the people?
Why is it important for our actions to match our words?
How will you choose to worship God sincerely this week?
Remember: 1 Corinthians 16:13 “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.”
📣Shout out to our 5th grade leaders, Caedmon and Ruby, who helped run projector and lights during our gathering this week!
