Equip 28 is designed to for preteens (4th-6th grade) to take ownership and grow in their faith as they deepen their understanding and relationship with God through a small group discipleship experience.
The upcoming study, "Identity", will remind students that their identity is found first and foremost in who God created them to be. Through Scripture, they will discover truths about who God says they are, acceptance, spiritual gifts, how to anchor their identity in who God says they are, and how to live a gospel-centered life.
Each session will consist of:
Opening God's Word to examine Biblical truth.
Interactive group activities to experience these truths.
Discussion with leaders and peers about understanding and interacting with the world around them through a worldview based on God's perspective.
Throughout the week:
Students will have opportunity personal Daily Discipleship that encourages them go deeper with daily Bible study, prayer, and journaling.
Parents can engage in family guides that extend the session conversation into the home.
