Celebration of Lights
The annual Celebration of Lights is one of the highlights of Shelbyville’s calendar. On Saturday, November 14th, Shelbyville will gather downtown to celebrate the coming of the Christmas season, decorate our streets, and light up the town Christmas tree for the first time. And this year, our CCC worship team has been invited to play a few songs at the gathering! Make plans to come out and join your neighbors downtown from 3-8 PM. The CCC band will be playing on the courthouse steps for 15 minutes at 6:00 PM.
On Sunday, November 8th, we’ll have an order of new loveshelbyville.com shirts available after the gathering, and they’re free to anyone who will commit to wearing them to the event the following Saturday. What a cool opportunity to have a great time with our community and strike up a conversation about why we love Shelbyville! We hope to see you there!
