This summer, Christ Community Kids is excited to partner with Shelby County’s Ready Fest—a back-to-school event designed to equip local students with the supplies they need to start the school year strong. Our part? We’ve committed to collecting 500 boxes of 24-count crayons to help fill supply bags for families in our community.

We’re calling on all of our Community Kids families to join the effort by donating as many 24-count boxes of crayons as you can between now and Sunday, July 13.

To make it even more fun, we’re turning this into a friendly competition:
Who can collect more crayons—Preschool or Elementary?

Each area will have its own collection bin, and we’ll keep a running tally of which group is in the lead. Not only will this bless hundreds of children in our area, but it will also give our kids a chance to practice generosity, teamwork, and community outreach in a tangible way.

Let’s show Shelby County how big our hearts (and crayon collections) can be!

Bring your crayons to church and drop them in the bins located in the Preschool and Elementary areas by Sunday, July 13.

Together, we can make a colorful difference!
