We have an incredible opportunity to put our faith into action and bless a family in Eastern Kentucky through a hands-on outreach event called Help Build Hope—and we need your help!

In partnership with CrossRoads Missions, Shelby Christian Church, Martha Layne Collins High School, and our own Christ Community Church, we’ll be building the walls of a home that will be delivered to a family affected by the recent devastating floods in EKY. This is our chance to literally be the hands and feet of Jesus—swinging hammers, encouraging one another, and sharing the love of Christ in a practical way.

Here’s How You Can Serve:

Location:
Shelby Christian Church
2375 Frankfort Rd., Shelbyville, KY 40065

Dates & Times:

  • Pre-Cut Night – Friday, May 16 | 5:30–8:00 PM
We need 14 adult volunteers to run saws and prep materials. CrossRoads will provide all tools—just bring willing hands and a servant heart!

  • Build Day – Saturday, May 17 | 8:30 AM Start
We need  14 adult team leaders to help guide build teams made up of student volunteers from Collins High School. We’re also praying for 80–100 volunteers total to make this build possible. If you can swing a hammer—or just cheer someone on—we need you.

Why This Matters:

This project isn't just about building a house—it's about building hope. For one family, these frames will become the walls of a new beginning. And for us, it’s a chance to be part of something bigger than ourselves.

Let’s show up in love, in strength, and in unity—together as Christ Community Church.
