God is continuing to work in the lives of our kids in exciting ways! As Plus One unfolds, Community Kids will be engaging in parallel commitments to grow in their faith. It is a great opportunity to connect and flourish as a family!
This week, we focused on the spiritual discipline of spending time with God. On Sunday, we read from 1 Timothy 4:7-8 and Luke 10:38-42 and talked about how we can prioritize spending time with God and why it is important for growing our relationship with Him. The kids were challenged to spend time with God this week. Some of the ways that we discussed included:
Praying
Memorizing scripture
Listening to worship music
Reading the Bible
Journaling
On Sunday, they will have opportunities to share how they are spending time with God, and they will be encouraged to continue this discipline at home!
